Gender Gap has been submitted to compete in the Equal Pay App Challenge!
BRISTOW, VA - March 30, 2012 - Bear-Eco Technologies, LLC announced today that Gender Gap has been submitted to compete in the Equal Pay App Challenge on Challenge.gov created by the U.S. Department of Labor. Gender Gap is the company's newest app made exclusively for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Gender Gap was created specifically to compete in the Equal Pay App Challenge put out by the U.S. Department of Labor. The app intends to boost public awareness of the salary differences between males and females who are doing the same jobs. The goal was to produce an app that is both fun and educational.
"I hope that Gender Gap will bring greater awareness to the general public who may not be aware of this issue", said Steve Jernigan, CEO and Founder of Bear-Eco Technologies, LLC. Gender Gap sets the player as a female interviewer who must determine whether the boss is offering her the average male salary for the profession or the average female salary. "The goal was to produce an app that is both fun and educational", said Jernigan.
Gender Gap will be available worldwide from the iTunes App Store for free.
